Not sure if Iam doing this right I purchased a new computer October 9, 2008 the software was windows vista home. When windows 7 is realeased the people who quailfy are people who purchased June/2009. Does this mean we have to purchase another operating system less than a year. Does anyone know what happens when windows 8,9, etc are release dp we pay very release.

Will the same thing happen with the mircosoft product that happen to me I purchased 1care a couple months back and now no support.
Confused tried everwhere to get some answers thought someone here would know.

Could someone suggest a site where I could get some of these questioned answered

Thanks

It seems like you're concerned about the upgrade eligibility for Windows operating systems and Microsoft products you've purchased. Here are some insights into your queries: 1. Windows Operating System Upgrades: - When Windows 7 was released, Microsoft offered free or discounted upgrades to users who purchased qualifying versions of Windows Vista within a specified period close to the release date of Windows 7. For example, users who purchased Windows Vista after a certain date in 2009 may have been eligible for a free or discounted upgrade to Windows 7. - Subsequent Windows versions like Windows 8, 9 (in this case, it went from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1), 10, and the current Windows 11 follow different upgrade paths and...

It's important to check with Microsoft during each new release to understand the upgrade options and eligibility criteria. 2. Microsoft Product Support: - Microsoft discontinues support for certain products over time, including software like Microsoft OneCare (1Care) for security. This means that after a particular date, Microsoft no longer provides updates, patches, or support for those products. It's common for software companies to end support for older products to focus on newer technologies and offerings. 3. Finding Answers: - To stay informed about upgrade options, product support, and other Microsoft-related queries, you can visit the official Microsoft website for accurate and up-to-date information. Microsoft's website provides detailed information on product lifecycles, upgrade paths, support policies, and more. If you have specific questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask here. I can also help with finding resources or clarifying any doubts you might have.
