If you've entered a product key for Windows 7 Home Premium on a Windows 10 system, it's expected that you might not see the version change to Windows 7. Here's what you can do to resolve this situation and successfully install Windows 7 on your system: 1. Create Bootable Media: - Download a Windows 7 ISO file from a reputable source. - Use a tool like Rufus to create a bootable USB drive with the Windows 7 ISO on it. This will be used to install Windows 7 on your system. 2. Boot from the USB: - Insert the bootable USB you created in the previous step. - Restart your computer and boot from the USB drive. 3. Install Windows 7: - Follow the on-screen prompts to install Windows 7 on your system. During the installation process, you will be prompted to enter the product key. Use the Windows 7 product key you purchased. 4. Activation: - After the installation is complete, Windows 7 should be installed on your system. Activate Windows 7 using the product key you have. - Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System to check if Windows is activated. 5. Dual Boot Consideration: - Since your system came with Windows 10, you may want to set up a dual boot configuration if you still need to use Windows 10. This will allow you to choose between Windows 7 and Windows 10 each time you start your computer. By following these steps, you should be able to install Windows 7 using your purchased product key. Make sure to back up any important data before starting the installation process. Once Windows 7 is successfully installed, you can set it as the default boot option or set up dual boot to switch between Windows 7 and 10 as needed.
