Window Updates Errors: Codes 800B0100 & 800F0900 - on updates: KB2691442 & KB2732500

I have to update these two updates in order to use my university's internet connection. I have tried many, many troubleshooting methods from Microsoft's Fix-It Tool to manually installing the updates to repairing and even re-installing .NET Framework from a clean source.
