Microsoft has rolled out Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3992 (KB5034203) to the Release Preview Channel for Windows 10, version 22H2. This update introduces new features, improvements, and fixes that enhance the user experience. Here are the key highlights of this release:



New Features and Enhancements:



- Backup Eye Control System Settings: A new feature allows users to back up eye control system settings from their former device and automatically install these settings on a new device for a seamless user experience upon reaching the desktop.

- Enhanced Weather Experience: In the coming weeks, the lock screen will offer a richer weather experience with dynamic, interactive weather updates. Users can access more detailed weather information by hovering over the weather card on the lock screen and opening Microsoft Edge for the full forecast.



Key Fixes and Improvements Include:



- Addressed an issue related to an Internet Explorer shortcut reappearing after its removal using a policy.

- Fixed a caching issue in Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) causing the CurrentTimeZone value to change incorrectly.

- Resolved an issue affecting XPath queries on FileHash and binary fields in event records.

- Fixed BitLocker data-only encryption issue where a mobile device management (MDM) service might not receive accurate data.

- Resolved issues related to printer installations appearing as scanners and Code Integrity Module (ci.dll) causing unresponsiveness.

- Quarterly updates to the Windows Kernel Vulnerable Driver Blocklist file, ensuring security against Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) attacks.
