I bought my computer last November, since then, I installed windows 10 technical preview, now whilst the OS is good, its getting too buggy for me too handle at the moment, saying this, I would like to downgrade to windows 8.1 which was my original OS. The only problem is I don't have any other OS on the system installed apart from W10 and because of this, when I boot up my windows 8.1 disk (Which is from cyber power), it asks for a product key which I don't have. Because W8.1 was pre installed on the system, I assumed it would remember and just tell me the product code, this is not the case, I have even checked the back of my computer for the code, help me >_<

If I use the recovery media from W10 website, will that work, or will it just ask for a product code again??

You can try to call Microsoft support for windows 8.1. They should be able to help you out on the product key. Just explain what you did.
