Windows 10 Windows 10 free upgrade still open for some..

Yup, anyone still wanting to upgrade to Windows 10 have until the 16th of Jan 2018.
 
Well apparently I did read the links were still up but that was some weeks ago..
 
It can still be done. I found this on Microsoft's site and upgraded both mine and my son's PC over the weekend.

I installed new windows 7 machines, activated with 7 key, THEN upgraded to 10 using the media from the link. Didn't ask to activate or anything.
 
It now ended.

CLICK ON DOWNLOAD TOOL AND IN THE TOOL SELECT UPGRADE THIS PC NOW.
NOTE: YOU CANNOT UPGRADE IF YOUR CURRENT WINDOWS IS NOT ACTIVATED
 
They say it's ended, though machines are still activating fine.
 
I've just upgraded this week from Win 7 on a Samsung NC110P.
 
I helped a mate upgrade from 8.1 earlier in the week.
 
From what I heard/read somewhere, but I can't recall the source Microsoft upgraded all active Windows 7/8.1 licenses so I believe as long as you have/had a running Windows 7/8 system should should be able to upgrade to Windows 10 without issue. If you were to buy a license (if you can find one) it would not upgrade.
