I an running Windows 10 Pro on my Lenovo Laptop.

The problem started recently just after a Windows 10 update,

The camera on my laptop works OK with programs such a Skype but when I start up the laptop I am told that I cannot login using facial recognition and reveive the error message "couldn't turn on the camera".

Can anyone offer suggestions?

I downloaded the driver from the Lenovo site. After a restart I find that it has not resolved the problem.

Google the name of your (camera) drivers and download from there. That should fix your problem. Had to do that with a friend's Toshiba. Don't know why but it doesn't work from Toshiba's website.

okay first uninstall the previous drivers(related to camera) because sometime machine configuration failed to access and than download it again from lenovo's main site and make sure that the driver requirement is fulfil whether its 32 bit or 64 bit also you need chip update and BIOS and application.
