Windows 7 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit on a new computer

#1
Howdy folks, i just got my new laptop,

HP Elitebook 8530p
HP EliteBook 8530p Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) (FN040UT) specifications - HP Small & Medium Business products

It comes with windows xp installed and an HP Windows 7 32 bit DVD. What is grinding my gears is that this thing can hold 8 gigs of ram, and if i understand correctly, a 32 bit can only use 4 gigs. So i def want to get the 64 bit Windows 7. Is there any option for me? other than buying the 64 bit version outright?
