I have a new computer using Windows 7 (64 bit). I have installed Office 2007 and all is working with one exception. When I right click a file and use "send to" and choose email recepient, nothing happens. If I try to open outlook at this point, nothing happens either. By going to the task mamager and looking at processes (not applications), I can see Outlook.exe running but using no cpu time. I have to close that process, open outlook regularly, start new message, click attach and then attach the file. This works, no problems.

What could be wrong in that right click and send does not work?

Thanks in advance for any help you might offer.

I also have Outlook 2007, but am running a 32 bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium. I just tried to send a file to "email recipient" and it worked as it should, opening Outlook as the default mail program. Make sure Outlook is designated as the default mail program: How to Make Outlook Your Default Email Program - About Email
If it is, you might try repairing or reinstalling Office 2007to see if that fixes the problem.
