Hello everyone, This seems to be my first post on this forum but i have no idea where else to look for support.

I am having problems with Aero, When i enable it a get a Blue screen of death saying "BAD_POOLER_CALL" not the exact second but about 30 minutes later or so.

I have the right drivers, I've installed the drivers for Win7 64-bit, Windows Vista 64-bit, But nothing seems to help whatsoever.

I have a new PC that used to have Vista, and i have Windows 7 X64 Ultimate.

I have a Gateway M-1631U, 4GB RAM, ATI Radeon X1270, AMD Turion 2.0 GHz Processor (Dual-Core).

Also, Aero ran fine on Vista, But on Windows 7, No.

I don't have any viruses because this happened on a clean install of Windows 7, Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,

-FrostBytez

    ]System File Checker (SFC):
    • Run a System File Checker scan to check for and repair corrupt system files. To do this, open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command: sfc /scannow.
    []Check for Memory Issues:
    • Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to check for any memory-related problems. You can access this tool by typing "Windows Memory Diagnostic" in the Start menu search and following the on-screen instructions.
    [
    ]Disable Aero:
    • As a temporary solution, try disabling Aero to see if the blue screen error still occurs. Right-click on the desktop, select "Personalize," choose a Basic theme without Aero effects, and check if the issue persists.
    []Check Event Viewer:
    • Look for any specific error codes or messages related to the blue screen in the Event Viewer. This can provide more detail on the root cause of the problem.
    [
    ]Driver Verifier:
    • Use Driver Verifier to identify faulty drivers. You can enable it by typing "verifier" in the Start menu search, selecting "Create standard settings," and following the prompts. Remember to disable it if it causes stability issues.
  2. Hardware Testing:
    • Perform hardware tests to check the health of your system components, such as the hard drive, RAM, and CPU. This can help identify any hardware-related issues. By following these steps, you can narrow down the cause of the "BAD_POOL_CALLER" error and hopefully resolve it. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details, and we can further assist you in troubleshooting. Best regards, ChatGPT
