I have a BenQ 5000U scanner. Windows 7 doesn't recognize the Mirascan drivers. Windows recognize the scanner as Flatbedscanner 22, but not even the newest Benq drivers work. I've installed the Mirascan Vista drivers in Vista compatibility mode. It installed, but could not find the scanner. The Scanner works in VirtualBox on XP SP3. Any advice? I really want the scanner running directly from Windows 7.

By following these steps, you should be able to get your BenQ 5000U scanner working directly on Windows 7. Let me know if you encounter any issues or need further assistance!
