ok so.

i click the 'shut down' button as normal. it shuts down as normal but when i turn it back on, the computer goes on, the screen says 'no input detected', then, when the comp restarts itself automatically, the screen turns on and windows starts up saying it wasnt properly shut down.

Solution
Hey.

Go into the bios and if there's a setting for Legacy USB, USB Keyboard support or any similar, enable them.

Make sure the keyboard is attached to a motherboard port and not to an add-on card.

Good luck.
