Check for Malware: Malware could be causing programs to uninstall themselves. Run a full scan of your system using a reliable antivirus program to check for any malicious software. 2. Check User Account Control (UAC) Settings: Sometimes, changes in the User Account Control settings can cause installed programs to behave abnormally. You can adjust these settings by following these steps: - Go to Control Panel > User Accounts. - Click on User Accounts > Change User Account Control settings. - Make sure the setting is not set too high. Set it to a level that suits your needs. 3. Check for System Errors: Run a system file checker scan to check for any corrupted system files. - Open Command Prompt as an administrator. - Type sfc /scannow and press Enter. - Let the scan complete and follow any on-screen instructions. 4. Check Startup Programs: Sometimes, programs can interfere with the startup process and cause issues like automatic program uninstallation. You can manage startup programs by: - Pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. - Go to the Startup tab and disable any unnecessary startup programs. 5. Restore to a Previous Point: If the issue started recently, you can try to restore your system to a point before the problem occurred using System Restore. - Type 'System Restore' in the Start menu search and follow the on-screen instructions. 6. Update Windows: Make sure your Windows 7 system is up to date with the latest updates. Sometimes, outdated systems can cause strange issues. Try these steps and see if any of them help resolve the problem with the automatic uninstallation of programs on your Windows 7 computer. If the issue continues, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
