I changed a new CPU yesterday and reset bios settings. now I notice I cannot wake windows 7 from hibernate by keyboard stroke, must hit power button.how to solve this issue?

Solution
It should not make a difference if it is a laptop or desktop, except desktops may not be set to hibernate since it does not need to keep a battery charged.

I will assume your system wakes from sleep normally with the keyboard. If it does not, there are settings also in Device Manager on the Power Management tab for the device, such as keyboard.

My laptop has always behaved that way. It requires the power button to resume from hibernation, but sleep only requires a keystroke or mouse movement.

If it was changed, it would be in the Control Panel, Power Settings settings..
