Solution Starcraft funky...
The thing that I've noticed mainly with nearly all program compatibilty with 7 is this. Programs that were designed for XP and earlier generally will not work, programs that were meant for XP AND Vista generally will work, and so far, all programs that I've seen that were designed for Vista, work with 7.

GTA San Andreas - works
Sims 2 - works with some issues (switching to compatibility mode may work)
SimPE utility for Sims 2 - Preferences dialog crashes on build 7000; now works on RC1
SpecialForce Online - Crashes after login; has known compatibility issues with Vista, as well as GameGuard anticheat software conflicting with W7
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow - works; projected shadows would not appear with newer Nvidia video cards, most notably in the Jerusalem and other levels. It is still possible to finish the game, though.
Garry's Mod - works, much like Counter-Strike Source and other HL2 mods
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent - works; seems to have some issues with Vista as well as 7, can be partially fixed using -ll parameter
Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge - works with some slight issues; people with high-res displays may adjust the ra2.ini or ra2md.ini to match the monitor's native resolution.

I'll post some more after the break...

Hmm, so far SWAT 4 does not work. When it gets to the link to pass registratiion it just stays blank. Nothing. Sometimes I get an error.

So far Operation Flashpoint ,ArmA1 and 2 work, and BF2.. I cannot seem to get Half Life to work yet.

Solution Starcraft funky colors:
Before launching the game, open your "screen size" window, and leave it there, then start the game... no more acid trip.
Solution NWN Diamond Edition
Instead of using the game's launcher make a shortcut of the nwn.exe, also, you have to download the 1.69 patch.

All this games where tested on OLD configurations, so people with newer systems should get the same or better results:

Test laptop: Compaq Presario V3217la:
-Mobility Sempron 3400+ 1.8ghz 256kb caché AM2+
-Nvidia Geforce Go 6150 integrated
-1.5gb ddr2 667mhz Ram
-Nvidia 430 chipset

Test Desktop:
-Intel Pentium D 925 Dual Core 3Ghz 4mb Cache bus 800
-MoBo ECS 945gtz-m
-1gb ddr2 533mhz Ram
-Nvidia Geforce 7200gs 256mb ddr2 on a PCIeX Lite (x4 port)
