B Blackcell New Member Joined May 19, 2009 May 19, 2009 #1 Just trying to figure out an issue I have with Windows 7. Is anyone else using a desktop USB Microphone that's using Windows 7's USB Audio Driver? I seem to be getting a "Thunderstorm" type sound whenever I use or activate the microphone.

P pcs3657 New Member Joined May 6, 2010 Jun 10, 2010 #3 Try and reduce the sensitivity of the micro phone as it is detecting the vibrations produced by your machine( hard disk moving and other mechanical parts moving.
