Windows 8 Windows 8.1 You Tube - no audio.

Just started to use Win 8.1 and am having a problem with Win8.1. I am using a Lenovo H30-05 and find that I the audio is so low that it cannot be heard. Works fine on video/movies etc. Also works OK on my Win 7 laptop. I have also noticed that YT on Win 8.1 has a different layout that hat on Win 7. Windows audio settings are set to Max.

Can anyone suggest anyhting?
