Windows 7 Windows Live Messenger

I use this program and it works fine. There is only one thing.

Today upon login, I received an PM from Windows Live Services... saying that I had to change my connexion name because of updates.

First am I the only one or many of you received it?
And how can I change this Windows Live ID name ?

The message contained a link to : the Help and Support .

This occured to one of my friend's also, I suggest completely ignoring this as it sounds fake!
