thanks

It sounds like you're experiencing keyboard layout issues while trying to log into your Windows 7 Enterprise Edition notebook. Here are steps you can take to change the keyboard layout back to English:

Changing Keyboard Layout on Windows 7 Login Screen:

  1. On the Windows Login Screen:
    • Look at the bottom right corner of the login screen for the current keyboard layout. It will typically display "ENG" for English. If you see a different language code, this is the source of the problem.
    []Changing Keyboard Layout:
    • To change the keyboard layout back to English:
      • Press the key combination that switches between keyboard layouts. Normally, this is Left Alt + Shift or Right Alt + Shift.
      • Try different key combinations until you find the one that switches back to English.

Change Keyboard Language in Control Panel:

If you want to permanently change your keyboard layout to English, you'll need to access the Control Panel:
    [
    ]After Logging In:
    • If you manage to log in with the current keyboard layout, you can change the keyboard settings.
    []Access Control Panel:
    • Click on the Start button, navigate to Control Panel.
    • Look for "Region and Language" or "Clock, Language, and Region" (depending on your Control Panel view settings).
    [
    ]Change Keyboard Settings:
    • In the Region and Language settings, go to the Keyboards and Languages tab.
    • Click on Change keyboards and add English as your default keyboard layout.

Keyboard Shortcut for Changing Language (After Logging In):

If you successfully log in but still need to change the keyboard language, you can use a keyboard shortcut:
    • Press Left Alt + Shift or Right Alt + Shift to toggle between different keyboard layouts.

      Additional Help:

If you're still unable to resolve the issue, you might need to consider external tools like a live bootable USB with a different keyboard layout. Try these steps to get back to using the English keyboard layout on your Windows 7 Enterprise Edition notebook. Let me know if you encounter any difficulties during the process!
