why can't I choose which floders I want Media Player to monitor? All of my Media files are on my NAS. I can access the share and open individual files, but Windows wont index the NAS?!?

Solution
use mklink to trick windows 7 into indexing NAS

Try this from Link Removed due to 404 Error

Link Removed due to 404 Error

it's sort of a band-aid solution. Just make sure you don't delete your NAS folders in the process ;)
I hope that final version of Windows will allow adding NAS to libraries

P.S. Try searching for the word "NAS" on windows7forums.
your post cannot be found. I wonder why...
Google found it :)
