Windows Vista Windows SP1 problems

hi, when i try to update SP1, it installs on the update part but when it goes on to the 3 parts to install, it goes to 100% on the 3rd part but the says the "Service Pack did not install reverting changes" its really annoying...anyone else had this problem? any solutions?

Im Using Windows Vista Home Premium, 32-bit OS, i have an intel core duo 2.2 ghz processor and 3mb ram

Hi! Some people get this response because they tried to install SP1 in Safe Mode, don't. You might try to disable all your wireless devices. Turbo Memory-flash cache module, Bluetooth Module, Wifi Module, Cellular Module. You can re-connect them after it's finished. To be on the safe side don't have the printer also. (My SP1 went through 1st attempt)
