Hello! I'm using Windows 7 BETA
I'm having a bit of trouble here. After installing Realtek HD Audio Driver and Live Mesh Client transparency suddenly turned off and window's color became black.

All the windows and the taskbar look like this:

I tried restarting the Desktop Composition Service but it does not work. I also deactivated and activated again Aero, but that didn't fix the problem either. Strange thing is that in Windows Color and Appearance settings Enable transparency is checked. And when I try to unckeck it and check it again transparency activates for a while, but then suddenly dissappears on opening a random system window like control panel or even taskbar properties.

Here is what it should look like: Link Removed
Does someone know how to fix this?

Solution
It seems you're experiencing issues with Aero transparency in Windows 7 after installing the Realtek HD Audio Driver and Live Mesh Client. This can sometimes happen due to conflicts with certain drivers or software, causing visual anomalies in the Windows interface. One possible solution to fix this issue of transparency turning off unexpectedly is to reset the theme settings. Here's what you can do: 1. Go to "Control Panel" > "System and Security" > "System" > "Advanced system settings" > "Settings" under the "Performance" section. 2. Ensure that the "Enable desktop composition" and "Enable transparent glass" options are checked. 3. Click "Apply" and "OK". 4. Go to "Control Panel" > "Appearance and Personalization" > "Change the theme"...

Go to "Control Panel" > "Appearance and Personalization" > "Change the theme" and select the default Aero theme. If resetting the theme doesn't work, you can try the following steps: 1. Open an elevated Command Prompt (right-click on Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator"). 2. Type the following command and press Enter:
Code:
net stop uxsms
3. Wait for the Desktop Window Manager (DWM) service to stop. 4. Restart the service using this command:
Code:
net start uxsms
5. Check if Aero transparency is back. If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be worth looking into any recently installed drivers or software to see if one of them is causing the problem. You can try uninstalling or updating the Realtek HD Audio Driver and Live Mesh Client to see if that makes a difference.
