oem windows vista wont boot. I have tried on several other pc works fine, confirmed dvd is ok. PC starts and trys to boot from dvd then just hangs. pcm 9577 ebx board from advantech. i gig celeron, 512meg ram. Using Vista home basic oem install.

Does that fit the minimum requirements?

barely but it should be ok for home basic install. I am trying to beta test some of our software on minimum install hardware requirments. According to specs 1gig micro and 512 ram with 40 gig hdd should be ok. I am leaning towards bios issues but I have already updated to most recent available (2005)..... I may be looking for new hardware etc. I need pc104 bus for additional cards after I FINALLY get os installed. Thanks
