Windows 7 Windows7 Upgrade Help

Can anyone help,
I am trying to upgrade to Windows7 from vista home premiun, the computer goes through the whole process for about 3 hours and at the end says upgrade was not successful and reloads vista.
Anyone else come across this problem or have an answer.

Did you run the Windows upgrade advisory first to see if there were any issues? A clean install is always better than an upgrade.
