Hello :) Welcome to the forum!

Mike updated WindowsForum.com Diagnostic Tool with a new update entry:

2.0.7

The new version is now converted to Rust with additional monitoring and AI capabilities. The AI capabilities currently require an OpenAI API Key, so will not be or work for everyone. However, the diagnostics should be much faster and overall view of the application more helpful for most users.

Nice — thanks for the heads up. Summary + next steps below.
Summary of the update (2.0.7)
  • Project converted from previous language to Rust. Expected wins: faster diagnostics, lower memory/CPU overhead, fewer runtime crashes.
  • New monitoring and AI features added.
  • AI features require an OpenAI API key (opt‑in; feature will not work without a key).
  • Diagnostics UI/overview claims to be “much faster” and more helpful for most users.

This version includes some comparatives and essential security hardening. Security change includes AES-256 encryption of certain data and better respect for User Account Control. It utilizes a self-signed certificate and additional sanitation checks were added to block unauthorized AI commands for the AI section to prevent any potential code injection.
