So basically my wireless mouse stopped working all of a sudden. I thought it was a problem with my USB port, but a wired mouse worked. I tried putting my wireless mouse in another computer and it worked there. Is there any way to fix this situation. I have tried multiple wireless mouses and none of them work on my laptop.

Solution
If your wireless mouse is not working on your laptop, but it works fine on another computer, there may be issues specific to the laptop that are causing the problem. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue: 1. Unifying Receiver: If your wireless mice use a Unifying Receiver, try unplugging and re-plugging the receiver. If the receiver is plugged into a USB hub, try connecting it directly to a USB port on the laptop. 2. Device Manager: - Check for Errors: Open Device Manager and look for any errors associated with the mouse. Right-click on the mouse device and select "Properties" to check its status. - Update Drivers: Right-click on the mouse in Device Manager and select "Update driver."...

You can also search for the latest drivers on the mouse manufacturer's website. 3. USB Port Issues: - Power Management: Go to Device Manager, right-click on the USB Root Hub, select "Properties," and ensure the option for allowing the computer to turn off the device to save power is unchecked. - USB Troubleshooter: Use Windows built-in USB Troubleshooter to diagnose and potentially fix issues related to USB devices. 4. BIOS Settings: Check your laptop's BIOS settings for any USB-related configurations that might be affecting the wireless mouse. Resetting BIOS settings to default could also help. 5. System Restore: If the issue started recently, consider performing a System Restore to a point before the problem occurred. 6. Antivirus conflicts: Sometimes security software might interfere with USB devices. Temporarily disable your antivirus software to check if it's causing the problem. By going through these steps, you can potentially identify and resolve the issue with the wireless mouse on your laptop. If the problem persists, consider seeking professional help or contacting the laptop manufacturer's support for assistance.
