Windows 7 Wmp 12 problem with tv and resizing

I am trying to use wmp 12 as i did with older version on windows and wmp 11 and below.i have a monitor and a tv connected into the ati 3850 GPU(latest drivers installed). I used to make the desktop extend and select from ati catalyst to play video in secondary screen always full mode and with cccp codec pack to resize video so no empty black above or below the movie.
So far no matter what i have done seems to have any effect on win 7 and wmp 12.
my problem is when i use the extended mode video does not play at all on tv .either seletcing from catalyst or from windows.
And resizing dosent work , i have tried so far , ffdshow win 7 codecs , cccp and k-lite
also i have tried with xvid , divx mvk etc files.
the only thing i can do is play as duplicate mode but still resizing dont work.

Any suggestions guys?

It's not a W7 issue, but ATI driver issue.

qwll its not a scaling problem.it is a problem like codecs dont not seem to work , in order to resize all videos to show 4:3 or 16:9 without the black above and below them.ccp and ffdshow have that option even shark but none seem to work .

Codecs are only responsible for ability to play video formats. Try a different player like KMplayer and see if you can change what you need.
