Windows 7 WMP12 playback problems!

Windows Media Player 12 playing "m2ts" file extension without sound. Please Help!

It should be able to play them; however, I don't know that WMP has native support for them. SM Player and VLC both have native support the m2ts format. sm player is my preferred media player on any system.
