📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses an error experienced specifically with Civilization Beyond Earth on Windows 10, despite other Civilization games working fine and multiple attempts with different NVIDIA drivers. The original poster admits to using a cracked version of the game, prompting a site policy response that they cannot help due to piracy concerns. The conversation concludes with a reminder of the available Steam demo, but overall, the thread highlights the issue and acknowledges the illegal nature of the game's copy.

Getting this error only on this game. Civ V works fine. Civ BE works fine on my Win7 installation on this same computer. This has failed on Win10 TP and now on Win10 official clean install. I have tried it on the last three NVIDIA drivers including the one just released (355.60)
I have run DWSETUP

Did you purchase the game or are you using a cracked version of it?

Cracked. I don't buy games until I try them out.

Then we cannot help you. Software piracy is not something this site condones.
