Ive just installed Win 7 64bit software.

I previously had Win 7 32bit software installed.

I usually connect to the internet with a Thomson Speedtouch 330 modem which worked well in the 32bit version but the software will not install in the 64bit version.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Previous advice on this site suggested that the Windows Vista 64bit drivers would work and I downloaded these but they wont install!!

Can anyone suggest another external modem with a reasonable price tag that will work in Win 7 64bit.

Cheers.

Solution
Right click on the driver install file and select properties, Then select the Compatibility Tab. Then put a check in the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for: and the select Vista from the pull down menu.

64bit Win 7 drivers.

Thanks for the quick reply pbcopter - please advise how you get into "compatability mode" to install Vista 64bit drivers?

Thank you.
