Not sure how to phrase this. Have a built in flash media reader that shows in windows explorer when I first start. After using it with a memory stick pro and then remove it using "safely remove hardware and eject media", device no longer shows up in widows explorer and doesn't see the next stick I insert. Have to reboot system to get it to see the device again. Hope I phrased this so it makes sense. Thanks for any help.

I Wouldn't use the Safely Remove Hardware feature if I was you. Same thing happens to me. Try going to your computer's driver download website and seeing if there is Vista/Windows 7 drivers available, the issue went away for me when I installed the manufacturers drivers, hope this helps. But if not simply don't use the safely remove hardware function anymore.

Took your advice and set removal policy to "quick removal" and now drive no longer disappears after use. Thanks.
