Hi,

I have recently installed Windows 8 Pro on my Dell Vostro 1400 laptop. I don't see any windows 8 drivers for my laptop model in dell site.

I could only see drivers for Windows Vista for 64 bit. I have downloaded them, changed compatibility mode to Windows 7 (Windows 8 compatibility option is not there) then I have tried installing it.

But, even then this trick is not working.

Can anybody please suggest me where can I get drivers for my Dell Vostro 1400 laptop!?

Any particular driver, or are you in need of a chipset?
Also, is your Windows version x64 or x86?
From what I saw, there were only Vista x86 drivers and XP.
Did you enter your service tag #?
