how do i get wireless to work on my laptop

i have ibm t42

wireless what? internet? switch the flick that says on and off to on, and then click the internet connection icon on your taskbar and search for the wireless router, type in the password if password enabled and your good to go.

i cant get wireless work on my laptop

oh, then it must be the connection, does windows identify any wireless routers or modems?
