Can anyone suggest an alternative desktop based email program that will stop me having to enter into Office 365 or upgrade to Windows 8 or 10? I am quite happy with Windows 7, I don't use Windows "productivity applications", and I just want to be able to access my @outlook emails on my computer, not have to log into outlook.com each time.

the only alternative I can think of is changing emails (again), or diverting all outlook emails to another, such as gmail.

Any input is appreciated, thanks.

any email accounts you have should remain intact when you upgrade.
