I have a Lenovo G40-45 PC . It had a preloaded windows 10 . I had only 2 GB RAM and The device was lagging . So , i decided to Reset PC and backed up all the data in my external hard disk as .dsi , .wsi or files with numbers as extension . Later i ended up loading a new windows 7 , hoping that it will be faster than before . obviously i want to get those files in windows 7 . Please help me with the procedures to do it if possible .

If you used the built-in backup feature Windows 7 uses the same format as Windows 10. I don't know if the inverse is true. You would just go into control panel > 'backup and restore'
