Hi,
Is it possible to change a MSW file to a gif, doc, txt, pdf, tif,or jpg? Because I am trying
to upload a document created on microsoft word to a particular site that will not accept
word files.

If you know anything, please let me know, thanks!

go to the menu in word "SAVE AS" and select the output format you need from the drop box.

If you change the file type you may lose any formatting within the document.

Does the site accept compressed zip files? Most sites do since it is the most efficient way to upload a file.

Once the file is uploaded it will need to be unzipped and the structural integrity of of the file will remain intact.

Right click on the document and select "send to compressed(zipped) folder" . Then upload the compressed(zipped) folder.

saving as a PDF or HTML wont alter formatting, it will just prevent editing easily.

Just change the handle to PDF, but tell the recipient to change it back to .doc before opening. It wont upset anything.
