📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses an issue with a new Yoga 7i Pro laptop that is only displaying a 59.998Hz refresh rate instead of the expected 90Hz. The original poster, Nathanuk79, questions whether this is a hardware fault, a Windows 10 problem, or if upgrading to Windows 11 might help. A respondent suggests that if the laptop has dual GPUs, the user may need to adjust which GPU the screen uses to change the refresh rate.

Hello, a quick question?

Does anyone know why a brand new laptop (Yoga 7i Pro) won't allow me to change the refresh rates? It states online it should be 90hz, but the laptop only shows 59.998hz. I have looked on youtube and online in general and none of their suggestions work. Is it a fault with the laptop or just windows 10? Or should I upgrade to Windows 11?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Regards, Nathan.

If it's a dual GPU system you may need to change the GPU the screen is using to change the refresh rate.
