I am trying to run regsvr32 as administrator and receive the 'error code 0x8007005'? I am running Windows 7 starter on a netbook.

Solution
I don't have a great deal of experience with using that command, but if you have the rights, could you be trying to change something that is restricted or in use?

Perhaps trying in safe mode would make a difference.

Otherwise, I am not sure why you would get an access denied message.

What services are you trying to register, if you feel like telling...

You are not in a good forum to post basic questions, maybe we can find an administrator to move this.

But are you using an Administrative command window for the command? If you don't know, type cmd in the Start Menu search box and hit CTRL+Shift+Enter to open one.
