I have noticed at times, my Ethernet DSL connection quits working. However, I have an XP Laptop that is able to connect fine with a wireless connection.

If I shut down the PC and power off the DSL Router, when. I power everything back up, it works fine.

I did not have these problems with VISTA. I installed Windows 7 RC as an upgrade.

Any suggestions?

Myself and 99% of the regular posters here all agree that a "clean" install is the best way to go.

If you've just installed Windows 7, I'd recommend you go back and do a "clean" install rather than the upgrade route.

Upgrading leaves hundreds of useless files on your system and can cause conflicts like the one you are having.
