I am running Win7 64 bit Ultimate.

I need to sort and separate volumes of files and directories by date only.

Is there a program that will do this?

Thanks for any direction you might provide. Link Removed

Have you tried......
Open the folder you want to sort > at the top, click View > select Sort by > select Date Modified.

Yes, I was afraid I would look a little dim-witted in my attempt to be succinct. I know what can be done in Windows Explorer - which is pretty quick and dirty.

What I was hoping for was a program that could go through lots of files, sort them by date and then give me the option to copy them to another partition for further sorting. What I don't want to do is sort in the master directory and then not be able to undo a sort I don't like.

Hope that makes some sense.
