For the past hour or so I have been following tutorials online on how to factory reset my Windows 8.1 computer, but none of them work

I am trying to factory reset my computer because there is a lot of stuff on it and I uninstalled almost everything but it still can't stop my computer from being slow and lagging when I play video games and stuff, so I have been trying to be able to factory reset my computer but I cannot seem to do it.

Any help?

I tried the reset from the glammrr bar(I believe that's what it is called) but it says I need some disc for it but I do not have one.

Any tips on doing it without the disk?

Bit pointless asking for help then not telling us what system you have... laptop = make /model or desktop = full report with something like Belarc Advisor (do NOT post your windows keys!).
