Is there any way to resize the calculator in Windows 8.1 so that is does not take up the entire screen when opened. I would like to work on an excel file and have the calculator small enough so that I can see the file I'm working on.

To fix this issue, follow the steps are given below:
  • Open run window and type calc
  • Now in the calculator window open on your screen
  • Right click on the taskbar and click to Pin this program to taskbar

Use the regular Windows calculator instead of the Metro one! C:\Windows\System32\calc.exe
