I would say all the HP all-in one printers have the same method. This follows very closely what I needed to do with my Brother Printer.

A little more info about what you are using to scan and what e-mail you are using could help.

Are you using an HP utility or Windows Fax and Scan. What type of scans are you doing as far as format and resolution?
