When I upgrade to Win 10, if I do, I am informed I will lose WMC but will have a dvd app from Windows. Is this app one that will play dvds like the WMVC did?
I ask because I have various extensions with different discs and WMC played them all.
I tried VLC but found it confusing.
I guess my point is to obtain an ez, but good dvd player.

Was just testing a Player that appears to work with my current build of Windows 10 http://www.5kplayer.com/video-music-player/
Seemed simple enough an interface to me. At least it played the DVD movie I stuck in the drive. Just hit the DVD + icon, it saw it and played it seemingly without issue.
Unfortunately I don't have a lot of media formats for a more in-depth evaluation but you might want to give it a try.
