without going in to gory details.....I have an older laptop with windows vista on it. I need to put windows 98 on it. if I download windows 98 will it override the windows vista? will windows vista, even, allow me to try and do this?
I need this done to help my grandson who has an older robotics kit, but in order to make it work, he needs a computer with windows 98 on it.

I doubt very much that the laptop would be Windows 98 compatible. Can you post the make and model of the laptop as well as what it is Robotics wise your trying to run (old modem?)
