On xp media centre edition, tried factory restore from F10 boot menu but there's no .net framework files, will i have to download these individually? Or can i retrieve them somehow?
Also after the factory restore, all the files, data and shortucts from games and programs i had previously are still there but the shortcuts wont find the files and wont work.. any ideas?

Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework from Microsoft's website the version you're using by downloading it.
then reinstall all programs.
