The October 15, 2014 Windows update to my 64 _bit Vista home premium changed the desktop, removing folders. It also seemed to have affected installed programs (wanting me to re-register them), or removing them from All Programs. For example microsoft access is installed but the icon was removed from the desktop and I can no longer find the program under All Programs. Photoshop, Excel, Adobe pro have similar problems...Any help?
Thank you

Hello. I have not heard anything relating to this update affecting Windows Vista users. Have you considered updating your operating system? You may also try this sfc /scannow tool, to determine that there is no corruption to your Windows Vista installation:

Please let me know. Thank you.
