can you explain what the actual issue is? Also don't forget with xp that SATA drivers have to be installed by you at some point during the install. It will usually ask you on screen and if I remember correctly you need to press S.
May I ask though, why XP? The operating system is now so old it's a huge target for every bit of malware out there. You would be better off upgrading to a later Windows version if you can.
