i run tune up utilities and it tells me that the prefetch data is deleted . i think i might have deleted it accidently by trying out a new disk cleaner program. witch i have now gotten rid of. i have win 7 home premiun 32 bit . i am wondering how i can git it back

You might try right clicking on the folder and selecting "Restore Previous".

It is supposed to be a self-maintaining folder that refreshes. Do you have something that empties it when you boot or during some type of scan?

You want to use care with tuneup and disk cleaner programs, they can cause more problems than they fix. I only use Ccleaner.
