My personal opinion is no its not powerfull enough, i know the bare min requirements it meets dont know about the graphics though, it on XP now has no dvd drive so would have to make a bootable usb drive, so what is peoples opinions

There have been many others that have installed Win 7 to netbooks. Some have even installed Win 7 HP version. I would check the Link Removed and check at the Link Removed

By the way you have to Custom Install to go from XP to Win 7. You can only upgrade from Vista. The custom install gives a cleaner OS in my humble opinion anyway. A Google search shows many sites for tips to do this Custom Install.
